January 19th, 2018 - This year marks an exciting expansion for Magic Mountain. The park is giving their old Colossus County Fair an overhaul with the world's tallest pendulum ride, renovated rides, dining, and shopping experiences. Additionally, the park is open 365 days this year, giving visitors more days to enjoy what the thrill capital has to offer. With that being said, let's move on to our update.
Magic Mountain has announced CraZanity, the world's tallest Pendulum attraction with a newly themed area and renovated attractions coming this Spring.

As this being our first update for CraZanity, there hasn't been a significant difference in construction from the previous months. The land has been cleared up, creating a big space in which the abandoned Crazy Barrels and Monorail station resided. All that is left is the former "Shoot The Hoops" game, which may be relocated in the new Boardwalk area.
The new "Boardwalk" area stretches from Scrambler to the arch of DC Universe. With the upcoming area, the park has decided to give Sandblaster, the park's bumper cars, an enhanced experience. No details about what is happening to Scrambler or Tidal Wave as of yet, but our best guess is that they both will receive new paint jobs.
The midway games of the former Colossus County Fair are beginning to receive a new coat of paint to fit in with the upcoming land appropriately. The Boardwalk is expected to be very colorful and popping like Screampunk District. Many of the colors which will reflect more of a "fun in the sun" type of experience.
