March 25th, 2016 - After months of being closed, the "One Loop Wonder" returns as The New Revolution! Much love and dedication went into this renovation project and it's finally ready for everyone to see. Six Flags Magic Mountain has officially announced that the ride will open on April 21st, 2016 to the public. Thank you SFMM for inviting us for a preview of The New Revolution! REVOLUTIONIZING A CLASSIC
Six Flags Magic Mountain will be introducing a complete restoration of their classic looping coaster. Revolution will become "The New Revolution" when it reopens in April 21st, 2016 with new trains, a new paint job, a renovated station, and a permanent Virtual Reality experience. Pass Holder are able to experience The New Revolution on certain days till April 17th, learn more HERE.
The Virtual Reality experience places guests in a battle to save the world from aliens as you maneuver through the twisting and looping track of The New Revolution. The VR is optional and is only to be used by guests 13 years of age or older.
A bright New plaza
With The New Revolution opening, Magic Mountain spruced up Six Flags plaza with new painted buildings, new menu options in some restaurants, live entertainment for the summer, and a fully refurbished carousel.
