This update starts around eight o'clock.
As per usual, I am at Six Flags Great America.
The first thing I noticed was that there are tiretracks in the grass and puddles have taken over next to the sidewalk.
The park is open weekends until later this month.
Also as usual I was alone walking to the main entrance.
So ADA Guests get to use the Gold Pass Entrance as well? That doesn't seem quite right.
I've gotten used to the Goliath walk back but I guess they haven't done that this season. So I ran to Goliath and got first ride of the day. Yet the second train was sent empty right after ours.
That was truly odd.
Not as unusual but more annoying, ThrillSeekers was not open yet which meant I couldn't get my on-ride pic.
Park President Hank Salemi was walking County Fair.
Then I noticed him go back by Justice League.
Tonight is Grad Nite but figured something was happening if the Park President was going back there.
Well a lot was going on. The pavement was being finished, and I guess I was right about the DC Logo.
A local construction company was hired to do the job.
I'm not sure why there are wooden stakes in the ground and why the inside wood is being painted.
Pillars/Columns have been planted in front.
The Oasis has been closed this whole time. There are Preview Events on May 26&27th before it opens to the public on May 28th.
Stutters wasn't open yet so I kept on moving.
Triple Play is being refurbished.
I stopped in Carousel Gifts because the Justice League Preview on May 26th, required the purchase of a T-Shirt. I didn't get the short but found this one to be funny. Viper isn't even rough. I don't find any of the coasters here to be rough.
Calimjumpers wasn't open either. Fiddler's Fling will open later this summer.
American Eagle is in the process of being repainted so it's running one side at a time while the other gets painted.
Buccaneer Battle has yet to open, but a couple boats left the station. Even though there are benches to stop people from getting close, many just walked on by.
When Strutters did finally open, the line was over half an hour and the menu would short.
The line was fine, as there are multiple TVs around to watch sports. The presentation of food here isn't the best, but it tastes great.
Southwest Territory is loosing some land due to Justice League. The sign has been removed.
My friend and I hopped on Condor as other lines were getting long. After getting off I noticed some Fling and Triple Play cars sitting by Superman.
To end this trip I had a Meatball Sandwich from The Firehouse in HomeTown Square with a Mellow Yellow.
I enjoyed my time at the park and make sure to check out other park's updates as well.
