I got to the park a little bit after opening and it was crowded.
I'm not sure where it came from or how long it will be at the park, but a giant Kraft Macaroni Noodle sculpture arrived out of nowhere. It is located by X-Flight, next to the Coke Stand.
There was sightings of a Fright Fest Hummer parked at in Mardi Gras by Cajun's old spot. However, it was not there during this visit. However, the sign for the new interactive Zombie game was still there. Nobody is quite sure what to expect of this. the only logical assumption that can be made is that this experience will be an upcharge in addition to normal park admission.
It was getting to be one o'clock and crowds were here to stay. I decided this was a nice time to use Single Rider. It doesn't bypass the line and doesn't allow the users to select their row. However, it usually isn't as long as the normal lines.
Superman is a (rather) unique coaster. It certainly is for the area. I like it but my top coaster in the park is still Goliath.
For those reasons, I usually don't wait in the normal line.
As I've said before, don't trust the posted wait times. They are rarely accurate. This was Raging Bull's line at 1:30. I would say that's more of an hour wait than forty five minutes. So there's a difference of fifteen minutes.
Next up is Giant Drop! The posted wait was fifteen minutes, I'm not a scientist but a fifteen minute line for this Intamin Drop Tower is when the line is visible from the entrance. I would say that was at least a forty five minute line, if not more. So there's a difference of at least a half hour.
The line was longer than I was willing to wait at Moosebuger Lodge, so I went on to Angelo's and got a Meatball sub. I don't recall if I've mentioned this before, but my sports bottle got stolen. So I wrapped it up with cloth and put some stickers on it. After having lunch, I met up with some friends that don't come often so I was spending quality time with them. So there will be a jump from one meal to the other.
For dinner, I got a flat-bread pizza by American Eagle and a bag of cotton-candy for a snack. While chowing down, I noticed that one of the advertising signs was broken.
In Conclusion: Six Flags is a great place for friends to hang out and spend time together!
