Upon pulling up with my parents, I noticed we parked next to a fellow American Coaster Enthusiast.
My first stop was The Dark Knight Coaster. My dad doesn't see so well in the dark and my mom is c=scared of coasters. So they opted to Whizzer instead. My dad is able to see where he's going and my mother is able to be comforted by him.
Why so Serious?
The other attractions included Justice League: Battle for Metropolis, Goliath, Giant Drop, Superman, Whizzer and Triple Play. It's odd that The Dark Knight wasn't on there.
After riding Justice League with my folks we all went on Whizzer one more time. At this point the ERT was over and the Flash Pass line was out the door.
Next Stop: Hurricane Harbor
Probably my favorite part about Hurricane Harbor is getting to see the SouthWest Territory coasters from a different view but I'll get into that later.
5'Oclock Phil's was still open but the Splash Shack was not.
Riptide Bay would have to be my favorite section of Hurricane Harbor. This 2011 expansion brought five new slides and a kiddie pool. Wipeout is my favorite of these.
Off in the distance is Hurricane Mountain and the Family Rafts. The purple slide is my favorite of these two. I'm wanting to say it's Bahama Momma but I'm not positive on that one.
Here's a better shot of Hurricane Mountain. Personally, the green one is my favorite from this complex, and I can't remember if it's Vortex or Typhoon.
Even farther off in the distance is Viper and Raging Bull, the stars of Southwest Territory.
Skull Island has been looming over the rest of Hurricane Harbor since the water park opened in 2005.
I've seen Refill only stands at Six Flags Over Georgia and thought it worked pretty well. I'm glad there's a location in Hurricane Harbor, but would appreciate some more in the dry park. I guess the Freestyle Machines in Trudy's Fudge Shop will have to do for now.
My folks split a chicken sandwich and I had my slice of cheese with fries. For whatever reason the site won't let me rotate the picture.
You know how I was talking about different views of the coasters? Well we're at that part of this trip report.
Clip of Viper slithering around it's first turnaround and Raging Bull diving down it's first drop.
What do you get when you add sharks and pirates?
You get Skull Island, the massive play structure in the "Nation's Best Water Park."
The Matt Racers were closed but at least my favorite slide in the whole park was open.
It's hard to get full shots of Raging Bull within the dry park but it's fairly easy in Hurricane Harbor.
Viper speeding down its first drop.
Raging Bull climbs to the top of it's 202 foot lift and falls 6 feet underground.
Yup That makes the drop 208 feet in total.
After the turnaround comes an airtime hill and a banked turn.

Towards the end of the ride, there is ejector air coming out of the midcourse break run. Immediately follows is a nice floater hill, one final turnaround, and a figure eight to finish it all of.

I was going to ride Viper after drying off, but the line was practically on the midway. I stumbled upon this ring on my way to Justice League.
These matches have always been apart of 4th Fest.
It's just the location used to be in front of Southwest Amphitheater.
Well we can't do that any more as the Hall of Justice presides on the plot of land formerly held by Southwest Amphitheater.
I spotted Billie the Bull as Benny is already taken by the Chicago NBA team. He was at the matches promoting Virtual Reality coming to Raging Bull.
This match is set for one fall!
Hailing from Green Bay Wisconsin, Mrrrrrrrr Kennn, derson.
Next up was a Mixed Tagteam before the headliners started their matches.
The dude in the white reminded me of a knockoff Drew Mcintrye/ Galloway.
Well I'd just like to thank Six Flags Great America for putting together a great Patriotic Event.
Also thanks to Pro Blitz Wrestling for spending the weekend at the park putting on a great show.
This dude was not patriotic at all. So the crowd all started chanting USA! USA! USA! I truly felt proud to be an American when we all put aside our differences to gang up and hate him. XD
I found it funny when the crowd would go crazy wanting high fives fro the wrestlers when they were in the ring. Then they would hang out after their matches and nobody recognized them.
Now the moment I was waiting for. Mr. Kennedy/Anderson in his own match.
Thanks for reading and check back for more updates from Six Flags Great America!
