It was a overcast Friday and I was at the park by opening.
This is a great example of how unpredictable going to an Amusement Park can be.
Instead of going to Goliath, I stopped a little short and was the first in line for V2.
If you simply want to knock some rides out, even if it isn't necessarily the best, I recommend going to Dark Knight and moving onto Batman. These two are usually the first to open with the park, or even sometimes a little bit early.
Goliath also isn't a terrible option but it does usually open a little late.
I found it fun to watch others running to Goliath before the park opened, thinking they were so clever. Well so were a couple hundred other people.
As Batman opened and later Goliath, I left and went to ride Batman. V2 would be down for most of the day, and this was actually true. It didn't open until two o'clock.
Public Relations Intern taking pictures of V2 and East River Crawler. Most of these pictures are never published publicly.
Here is my usual lunch of a double cheeseburger at Mooseburger Lodge.
I heard that there was some demo going on by Southwest Amphitheater, and not the demo of Street Fighter V. So I checked it out and found that these stories were true.
The thing I love most about summer tips are the skies. Around 7:50 they are always so pretty.
Unfortunately a storm rolled in and ruined our fun. Coasters After Dark was canceled , after rides being down for multiple hours, even after closing.
In Conclusion: It was a crappy way to end the day, but it was fun leading up to the storm.
