The day before was rainy throughout, so I didn't take my bag in at all. Thus no pictures were taken. Anyways, closing day was beautiful and sunny. Having my usual spot pretty much right at the entrance, I took some last photos that indicates Fright Fest was among us.
Immediately after opening my friends and I headed right to Goliath, or should I say GoMets? Since the Chicago Cubs lost to the New York Mets. The wager was renaming the entire park and a star attraction for the remainder of the season, so there I was in line for GoMets at Six Flags Great Mets. The alternative would have been Six Flags Great Adventure being renamed Six Flags Great Cubs and Kingda Ka being renamed Kingda Cubs.
My friends and I weren't all the way at the entrance, but we also didn't run like others usually do, including myself.
The RMC started testing and soon opened, as always we had a great ride.
Next up was X-Flight. The front row was about a five cycle wait while the back was a walk on. Of course I take the row that has the best wait/experience ratio.
After hitting Giant Drop, Raging Bull, and Terror Twister, it was time for lunch. Angelo's was full so we ate outside. It is odd seeing the flumes practically drained. The first picture is cool because of Loggers Run in the reflection.
Sitting there holding the table allowed for some pictures of V2 to be taken.
One of my friends split from us and stopped at Mooseburger and met us at Angelo's.
I had to use about seven comps that I received for various reasons. I used two of them on Whizzer because the Flash Pass line goes literally right into the station. It never merges.
This Schwarkopf coaster is an American Coaster Enthusiast Landmark.
Whizzer after all is one of the only Custom SpeedRacer coaster left
I tried getting some pics of Raging Bull but they didn't turn out too well.
Well it was a great season and I can't wait to have Justice during next Season. Haha
