Little to no cars were lined up to get into the park hours before opening.
Raging Bull was testing.
I am usually at the park bright and early, even before some of the employees get there. Here is a picture to prove it. I've realized that not many trip reports include any kind of pictures of me, so I included one of me.
For the first time in the four years that I've been a Season Pass Holder, I have not lost my pass once. Well that luck came to an end during my last visit. So first stop during this one was Guest Services to get a new one.
Selfie Sticks have been banned throughout the entire Six Flags Chain. The irony is that I got mine from the park during Media Day and Upper Management used them around the park for a little while.
I bet you'll never guess where I'm going as soon as the park officially opens. If you thought anything besides Goliath, you would be wrong.
This was the week of Double Rides on Goliath. These of course would only be given during the last hour of operation. This is a smart move by the park as it prompts patrons to stay later and overall spend more money.
I'm not quite sure how it happened but this bird was laying on the concrete underneath the track path of Batman: The Ride.
With it being one of the last days the Peking Acrobats would be performing I got my snack at Six Below and went to catch the 3:30 Performance. This time I did take some pictures. The odd thing is that a good portion of the back was reserved for Six Flags Personnel to film.
The whole show is well executed. The opening certainly makes an impact as performers crack their flags on stage.
Pictures from the first act.
Shots from the second and third acts.
Snapshots of the fourth act. Soon after I was told by an employee to stop taking pictures and I complied.
I didn't get double rides but I did get one by using Single Rider.
My friends and I met back up at JB's and all got the Nachos Grande.
Closing is truly one of my favorite times of the day. Opening comes close, but doesn't top getting last rides after hours and talking with your buddies, as the line seems to speed by. This is because EAPs and Flash Pass aren't taking seats from the standby line.
In Conclusion: It was nice to have the Peking Acrobats performing for most of the season. It's unfortunate that they couldn't stay longer, but it's better than not seeing them at all.
