While Fourth of July weekend is a a very crowded time for Amusement Parks in general, it especially is at Six Flags Great America. However, I enjoy my time because of ERT, and other special events going on during this time.
There was an ERT on select attractions an hour prior to opening with a can of Coke. This is apart of Six Flags Efforts to be with the times and maintain the Earth for future generations. GO Green! Go Six Flags!
Of course I headed straight to Goliath at the beginning of the Exclusive Ride Time. I was surprised to find that one guy had beat me to it by going through Hometown Square, and County Fair on the right side.
By noon, the heat and crowds had both gone up. Even Uncle Sam was tired.
The clock in the Hometown Station was wrong. It was 12:15.
The Train had TVs at the front of each car. Thus two rows of each car were roped off.
Goliath was climbing the lift as we got closer to the World Breaking Coaster. So I whipped out my camera and got some decent shots.
Seeing that the line for Single Rider was considerable short, I cashed in on the offer. Next up was Lunch at Moose-Burger Lodge. Heading back towards Orleans Place, Some Upper Management were taking pictures of Cajun's old spot. This certainly got me wondering about the future.
King Chaos had a short line so I went for a spin. Pun not originally intended.
The wrestling show has always been a favorite of mine. I waited for an hour before the show to get good seats. I later found out that this was not necessary, but it certainly filled in once the show started.
I used this time to take pictures of attractions that I often walk by because of timing.
One of my favorite aspects of Pro Blitz Wrestling is how close and personal their events are. Especially with former WWF/WWE superstars. That would be Kevin Thorne with the same women that were by Cajun's spot.
Pictures from the first match. Shortly after the first match ended. My Cannon died. So I had to use my Samsung for the rest of the trip report.
Pictures of the second match Featuring former WWE Star Kevin Thorn
Pictures of the third match Featuring former WCW, WWF, and WWE superstar Al Snow
Pictures of the fourth match Featuring former WWE/TNA star Mr. Kennedy/Anderson. Personally I just call him Mr. Kenderson, but that's besides the point.
Unfortunately my Samsung also died, so this is where the trip report ends.
In Conclusion: Six Flags can bring it when they want to. I had a wonderful time at July 4th Fest, regardless of the crowds.
