March 6th, 2016 - I decided to pay a visit to the park today to check out the progress for The Joker. Not much visible progress has been made, so I brought you more shots of the completed track work. The Joker is Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's brand new coaster expected for a Spring opening. After the closing of Roar, it was announced that it would be renovated to be Northern California's Most Anticipated coaster in over a decade. Click here to learn more about this attraction.

Q: Will we see new themeing for the ride?
A: Yes. We have not released conceptual art of this as yet.
Q: Is construction progress for The Joker on schedule for a spring opening?
Q: Will the queue line be expanded to accommodate a higher capacity of riders?
Q: Are there going to be any updated features to the station?
A: Yes, and as mentioned, we have not released any artwork.
Q: There has been rumors about a possible tunnel on the ride is it true?
A: Yes, there will be a tunnel
Q: What is unique about this ride compared to all the other Rocky Mountain Construction rides?
A: All of their projects are unique, owing to the footprint and what they have to work with. In this case, we salvaged much of the Roar structure to accommodate a new layout.
Q: In your opinion what type of benefits will The Joker provide to the park?
A: The Joker adds to the park’s thrill product significantly and also builds on our DC-themed product.
Q: When will the trains for The Joker start showing up at the park?
A: This is a secret.
Q: Will the joker receive its own gift shop like Superman Ultimate Flight?
Q: Lastly, will we see more rides in the future themed to a DC Universe character?
A: We are not releasing news of any future projects.
