January 12th 2016 - Construction for The Joker has progressed throughout this month. In the last update, we've seen Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) complete track placement from the end of the maintenance building to the bottom of the first drop. There hasn't been more track placement since. Though there has been more headers & support work done throughout the layout. Majority of the work has been taking place throughout the lift as they install the catwalk railings.
In addition, a new addition was announced this past week. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom just announced "Pacific Rim 5-D" More details below. Hope you enjoy this update!

The Joker is Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's brand new coaster expected for a Spring opening. After the closing of Roar, it was announced that it would be renovated to be Northern California's Most Anticipated coaster in over a decade.

PACIFIC RIM 5-D

Presented in Six Flags Discovery Kingdom’s Iwerks 5D Theater, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment, “Pacific Rim 5-D” opens with special limited sneak previews in January, with an official opening in the coming weeks."
