June 1st, 2016 - Today we will be sharing our thoughts on the Joker. The Joker opened to the public on May 29th but due to issues it ended up opening the following day for a few hours. The Joker is a great ride for everyone with some intense parts throughout the ride and also some awesome ejector airtime in the back row. Below you will see our full ride review of the Joker. Enjoy!!!

THE JOKER RIDE REVIEW
The Joker is Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's brand new coaster expected for a Spring opening. After the closing of Roar, it was announced that it would be renovated to be Northern California's Most Anticipated coaster in over a decade. Click here to learn more about this attraction.
Next is the Step Up Under Flip, a one of a kind inversion that you can't experience anywhere else. When rolling through the inversion, I lost my sense of direction because the track is so twisted and with the close supports you can't decide which way you're going. In the first few rows, you can feel the forces of the other cars pushing you through this element and in the back you roll through this element gracefully.
The Zero G Stall is very similar to the Top Gun Stall on Twisted Colossus, but the one major difference is that this stall is taller causing the train to go through this inversion at a slower speed. The front and the back rows are two totally different rides especially when going through this element. In the front, you get some great laterals and forces when entering and exiting from the stall, while in the back you get some great hang time from the stall as the front cars are exiting the inversion. The back row gives the sensation of floating and every row has the experience of some great head choppers with the platform beneath.
